"Hi! My name is Riley and today I'm going to walk you through some of the key findings from Taradel’s 2024 Real Estate Marketing Survey. In October of 2023, Taradel conducted a twenty-nine question survey of 40 Real Estate professionals with the purpose of identifying trends, marketing tactics, preferences, and feedback within the U.S. real estate industry.

So, let’s dive into the results:

Methodology

92% of respondents operate primarily in the residential real estate sector

60% have over 10 years of real estate experience & 43% have over 20 years!

95% perceive the level of competition in their local marketing as very or moderately competitive.

Industry Predictions

72% believe the real estate industry will either improve or remain steady

62% believe that economic factors will most significantly impact the real estate business

The majority predict that the inventory of homes will moderately increase heading into 2024

Marketing Challenges & Goals

The top challenges facing realtors are: #1 Lead Generation & #2 Budget

The main goals of realtors are: #1 Acquire new clients #2 Generate Leads #3 Brand Awareness

Multichannel Marketing

85% of realtors use at least 2 marketing channels to meet sales & marketing goals

Direct Mail, Email, and facebook ads are the top marketing tactics realtors will use to reach buyers and sellers in 2024 Now let's get into the marketing mix of realtors.

Digital Marketing

In today's digital world, it's crucial for realtors to create and maintain a digital presence. Which is why 100% plan to increase or remain steady with their digital marketing.

Facebook is the social top social channel for realtors – with 80% currently using it and 64% planning to over the next year

Due to its tangible and personable nature, direct mail is the #1 results-dirver for real estate businesses Because of this, 88% of respondents plan to increase or maintain direct mail efforts over the next year.
