How to Use Demographics with Every Door Direct Mail® (VIDEO)
Now, with just a few easy clicks, you can include demographic selections when targeting carrier routes for the Every Door Direct Mail® program. The new feature, named Heatmap ROI™, is conveniently built-in to the U-Select online mapping technology developed by Taradel LLC.
Using Heatmap ROI™, advertisers can choose up to (3) demographic selections used to help identify the carrier routes which contain the highest percentages of prospects.
Available Demographics Selections Include:
- Household Income
- Age
- Home Ownership
- Gender
- Presence of Children
How it works:
After making (1) or more demographic criteria selections, the user will receive a heatmap overlay (within the mapping tool) that instantly identifies the most attractive carrier routes. This data is presented in the form of a color-coded heatmap. Dark red areas indicate carrier routes with the highest match percentage, whereas light-colored areas indicate carrier routes with a lower match percentage.
Using the mapping tool, users can effortlessy point-and-click on the carrier routes where they want their mailers delivered.
Geographic options:
Also notable, is the ability to make selections based on geographic data such as distance/radius (in miles) around an address, or by using GPS-guided drivetime information around an address. This is ideal for business owners or organization where opportunities are based fully or partially on convenience. For example, a pizzeria may want to use the drive-time targeting option to indicate carrier routes located within their pizza delivery range.
Even better, users can use both geographic and demographic criteria simultaneously, to develop a highly-targeted direct mail campaign.
