Why To Go Menus are Critical

For restaurants that want to cut back on costs, to go menus should not be eliminated from the marketing mix.  To go menus are very important because they offer an easy way for your customers to refer to see your menu items and order from you in the future.  Yes, they can search online for your menu but having a physical paper copy in their kitchen will eliminate any technical difficulties out of the mix.

You want to make it as easy as possible for you customers to find and order from you.  The harder that you make their research, the less likely they are going to order from you next time.  Many consumers these days want to put in the least amount of effort as possible.  We, as consumers, have very limited attention spans now.  Consumers know what they want but they want to be able to get it as easy as possible.  So the easier you make your menu available to your customers, the easier you’re making their final decision to place an order with you.

To go menus are useful because they make the way that consumers search for your restaurant much easier.  And the last thing that you want to do is make it hard on your customers to come to you or order from you.  When you drop a to go menu in every to go or delivery order, you increase your chances of gaining more repeat orders.  To have your menu physically in your customers’ hands, you can expect more orders because you have made your restaurant more available to them.  Instead of having to power up their computers and log onto the internet to look for your menu, all they have to do is walk into the kitchen and grab yours from the take out menu cabinet drawer.
